Antec Fan Kuhler H2o 920 Liquid Cooling System Maximum-PerformanceRE: Antec 920 Install ProblemInstalled Chill Control Software prior to install of Antec 920 and the connection to internal USB and CPU fan header. Shows ERROR cannot connect to USB Chill Control device. Windows tries to load the driver but fails. I've spent hours trying to get it to work. Unit appears to be working at idle with low fan speed and blueish/white light glows from unit. Idle temp about 30C at idle. Have since removed software, unplugged the USB connection , reinstalled and rebooted several times to no avail. I purchased this at the end of February 2011. Last Saturday there was a loud pop, followed by my computer freezing. It not only leaked coolant on my video card, but it looks like it has completely ruined my motherboard. It was less than 9 months old.I'm hoping the CPU, memory, and drives are intact. Do not waste your money on this. There were no clear increases in cooling noted w/ the cooler that a solid air cooling system couldn't provide. I am now attempting to find out what CoolIT Systems will do about it. My goal is to try to at least get my money back for their horrible cooling solution, if not have them pay for the equipment their poor design ruined. If they do nothing, I'm going to talk with my lawyer about a class action lawsuit. These things should not be sold if the pump failure occurs this quickly and has the potential to destroy other hardware on a system. I assumed this might happen 5 years out, not less than a year after putting the system together.You've been warned.

I purchased this a while ago. This liquid cooler works great. I did not have any problems leaking or installing. It cools the pc very well. My cpu is currently at 22 C. and has been running all day not in sleep mode. it is slightly noisy but you will hardly notice.

I just upgraded my PC, after about five or six years (coming from a Celeron that wasn't top of the line, when I bought it). For that setup, I started with a mATX case that felt like a hot plate, and ran with a cheap Ultra (brand) fan. Now, I'm using an i7 3930k, and this cooler is quieter than my old CPU fan.I did a little research, before I bought this one, and it's one of the best. It's quiet, and it has great cooling; it's comparable to the Noctua brand, but this one comes in more colors, and it is a bit bigger. I had no problems fitting this in my case, but you should have low profile ram, and you may want to measure the dimensions of your case, before buying this.The fans push a LOT of air. I have a 140mm spot in the back of my case, and i decided to separately purchase one of these fans, for that slot. Most times, I feel cool (not warm) air coming out of my case , and before I put the CPU in, the air was too cold for me to stand next to, for long; it was like being in front of airconditioning.The fans sound like a light blowing noise. The loudest fan is the 230mm (Thermaltake Element S chasis) that came with my case. Other than that, my system is pretty darn quiet. If I'm working, I can hardly hear it.

This cooler is phenomenal.I've used one of the older model coolers on an older PC build and i was very pleased with the result.For my new PC build i looked up the new models and i was very happy to see the improvements and little changes made to the model.I looked around before finally purchasing one of these bad boys but after a whole lot of searching this model was a no brainer.I'm currently using this cooler on my SB Motherboard with Intel 2600 I7 and under normal usage the CPU does not go any higher then 28-29 degrees and after a whole lot of gaming no higher than 40 degrees in normal room temperature.The look!!Man this cooler looks amazing, I'm very happy to see that Zelman has made a plastic cover that is wrapped around the cooler that does not need to be removed before installation which made the install of this one much!! Easier then the older models.Also they have upgraded the tools that come with this cooler to make the installation even easier and that is always a very good thing! :DIf you are building a new pc make sure you install the bracket that goes on the back of the Motherboard (depends on your MOBO model if that is needed or not) as this will make the installation very easy i you don't have an opening for that in your computer case.This cooler is just phenomenal, the cooling power, the looks and the quality are all outstanding, you just need to make sure you have the room for this monster in your case. It works as advertised. It is a pretty little thing and looks good in the case, especially if you have a case with some bling already. It has trhee types of hookups that integrate this device to your PC:1) fan plugs2) heat sensors3) powerline interfaceThere are several things that I would point out:1) The heat sensors are little wires that have "tape" on their ends. You attach each sensor to a device (memory, video, cpu heatsink, hard drive, motherboard components, etc.) by "taping it" to the device and the heat sensor will record the heat at that point. Makes sense and I can't think of any other way to make such a thing work without actual collaboration with device vendors, but in the end the tape does not always stick well, and the sensors are way too easy to strip the ends off of.2) If you are running Windows, I believe everything from an information perspective except for power consumption, can be gotten from one or more free monitoring applications so if you don't want to spend the money for this the info can be had for free. On the other hand, I have found some of these "monitoring" programs to be intrusive and expensive to your performance, especially if you are playing games, but this device is a zeroe overhead item so it is very nice in that regard.3) The best feature of this device is the "wattage consumed" feature. So far I am very impressed with this heat sink. Just finished a 12 hour burn in test that was maxing out the 6 hyper threaded cores on my I7 Extreme 990-X and none of the cores got over 53C, some stayed as low as 45C. As soon as I stopped the burn it temps dropped down into the 30s on all cores.The 1 downside is the size. It is truely massive, measuring almost 7" tall. Be sure you get a large case if your planning on using this heat sink. Motherboard chipset heat sinks can also be a problem, it just barely fit with the heat sink for my x58 chipset.I can confirm that it does fit inside the Thermaltake Level 10 GT Super Gaming Modular Tower Computer Case VN10001W2NAlso the G.SKILL Ripjaws Series memory will just barely fit under this heat sink, anything taller will not.All and all a great heat sink, if you have the space for it.

This heatsink keeps my Intel core i7 2600k anywhere between 78°F to 100°F at load. All the while being whisper quiet. If you're thinking about going with this make sure to check out their website to see if your memory will fit under it, it's the size of Godzilla. Considering it's priced similarly to other heatsinks out there, if it'll fit, why not get it? You'll be pleasantly surprised firing up your rig then checking the temperature. This case is very roomy. I was able to transfer all of my components it to it. I had a problem with the USB outlet, but I turned it around.This a very nice case. I love the lights,clock and the ability to see who cool my CPU is . Cool Case
